Valerie Quiring

Valerie Quiring holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from Fresno Pacific University and an M.A. in Choral Conducting from California State University, Fresno. Ms. Quiring has been an Elementary Music Specialist with Clovis Unified School District, taught elementary and middle school vocal music at Fresno Christian Schools and was the Artistic Director of the Central California Children's Choir for seven years. Ms. Quiring is an active member of the American Choral Director's Association. Her choirs have performed at numerous ACDA and California Music Educator's Association conventions. She is frequently in demand as a clinician and adjudicator for children's choirs throughout the state of California.
Cynthia Salomonson

Cynthia Salomonson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from California State University, Fresno in the area of vocal performance with a choral conducting emphasis. Mrs. Salomonson has taught children's choirs in public schools and private organizations throughout the central valley for more than a decade. She is currently an elementary music specialist with Clovis Unified School District and was the Associate Director and Administrator of the Central California Children's Choir for seven years. Mrs. Salomonson's professional affiliations include the American Choral Directors Association and the Organization of Kodaly Educators.
Kathy Blumer

Kathy Blumer holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music in Music Education and a Master of Arts in Choral Conducting from California State University, Fresno. Mrs. Blumer has taught choir at the middle school and high school levels and is presently an elementary music specialist with Clovis Unified School District. Mrs. Blumer also teaches private piano lessons and is a member of Music Teachers Association and American Choral Directors Association.
Christa Scott

Christa Scott joins us for the second semester to start our new choir, Prima Voce, specifically created for Kindergarten through first grade students. Ms. Scott is presently a music teacher in Dinuba School District, as well as with a home school choir in Dinuba. In addition, Ms. Scott teaches private flute lessons and is a member of the American Choral Directors Association.
Nicole Simes

Nicole Simes has been an accompanist for the Bach Children's Choir for the past five years. In addition, she has directed the youngest choir, Dolce for three years. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS degree in Marriage Family and Human Development and a Minor in Music. While at BYU, she performed with the Women's Chorus in addition to receiving private instruction. She sang with the Central California Children's Choir under the direction of Valerie Quiring for five years. She has been the vocal coach for music theater productions in addition to performing with various other music groups throughout her life.
